THANK YOU!
We are excited to announce our partnership with The Bill Corey Fund. This group was formed a few years ago to honor the memory of long-time youth supporter, Mr. Bill Corey.
Over the past few years, donations to this group have been used to pay entry fees and stall fees and to provide awards to encourage youth to participate in Rocky Mountain Horse Association (RMHA) sponsored youth activities and competitions. In 2021, the first Bill Corey Fund scholarship was made available to all RMHA Youth members and awarded to a deserving young Rocky Mountain Horse enthusiast.
The Bill Corey Fund 2022 goal for fund-raising is $1000, but all funds donated to the RMHF and directed for use for The Bill Corey Fund will be used for these programs.
Promoting youth participation in activities with Rocky Mountain Horses and making scholarships available helps to secure the future for this heritage American breed. We hope you will consider a donation to support the programs of The Bill Corey Fund.
We are pleased to announce our partnership with the Rocky Mountain Horse Association (RMHA) History Committee.
History Committee members, with cooperation from past and present members of the RMHA, have compiled a collection of all issues of the Natural Gait News (published 1989 to 2000) and they have located a company that can digitize these publications. They have received RMHA Board approval to create a secure online library of these and other items (RMHA brochures, International show bills, magazines, newsletters, etc.) which will be accessible to RMHA members.
The Committee’s 2022 goal is to complete the digitization of the Natural Gait News, which will require $2000. Funds donated beyond that amount will be used to support the other portions of this ongoing project.
Preserving and providing access to historical information about the Rocky Mountain Horse breed and the RMHA will help to preserve the past and secure the future of this heritage American breed. We hope you will consider a donation to the RMHA History Committee’s fundraising campaign.
We are pleased to announce our partnership with the Rocky Mountain Horse Association (RMHA) Youth Committee.
The RMHA Youth Committee has provided RMHA Youth scholarships, awarded annually at the RMHA International Grand Championships, to deserving RMHA youth members for many years. A few years ago, the RMHA renamed the program in memory of two dedicated Rocky Mountain Horse enthusiasts and great supporters of all youth riders. The Eddie and Wanda Adams RMHA Youth Scholarship program provides scholarships to help RMHA youth members with college costs.
The 2022 fund-raising goal for this program is $1000. Encouraging youth, already interested in the breed, to obtain a higher education is certainly an investment in the future of this amazing breed and a step toward securing the future of the RMHA for years to come. We hope you will consider a donation to support the Eddie and Wanda Adams RMHA Youth Scholarship program.
We are excited to announce our partnership with the Rocky Mountain Horse Association (RMHA) office.
The RMHA office recently moved to a new location, at the Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington, KY, where it has experienced increased foot traffic. They are requesting fundraising assistance to refresh and replenish Marketing and Promotional materials with their new address. These materials (brochures, rack cards, banners, posters, etc.) are often the first point of contact for prospective Rocky Mountain Horse owners interested in learning more about the association and the breed. Updated professional materials will attract attention at expos and other events, will provide for a better introduction, can encourage more exploration, and, hopefully, will result in new owners and more participation in a variety of activities with Rocky Mountain Horses in the future.
The 2022 fundraising goal for this campaign is $2000. Directed funds received beyond that amount would be used to develop other new materials. Introducing others to our breed is important to securing the future of this heritage American breed. We hope you will consider a donation to the RMHA Marketing/Promotions fundraising campaign.
